The Build With Advantage Training Program (B.W.A.T.P.) offers a comprehensive course designed to equip participants with essential hands-on skills in the construction and clean energy sectors. This course is structured into three engaging sections that blend theoretical knowledge with practical applications, empowering individuals from the Greater Englewood Community to overcome financial, educational, and social barriers. Participants will learn valuable skills ranging from foundational construction techniques to project management, enhancing their employability and preparing them for success in various career paths. By the end of the course, participants will not only gain crucial certifications but also develop soft skills, financial literacy, and leadership abilities, paving the way for a brighter future in their communities. To Educate
Education infuses basic construction/general math (Financial literacy & Budgeting) and reading skills to learn, create, design, and build with strategies that lend to troubleshooting approaches for ‘real-world’ scenarios in the technical, construction, and clean energy industry sectors.
To Engage
Engagement of individuals {self-awareness} to build positive, productive, and presentable solid
foundational ‘soft skills’ to use within the technical, construction and clean energy industry sectors. ‘Soft-skills’ include communication, dependability, teamwork, problem solving, adaptability, critical thinking, conflict management and time management.


To Encourage
Encouragement consists of assisting the individuals with removing social, economical, financial and community barriers/challenges to grow toward productive citizens of society for the technical, construction and clean energy sectors.
To Empower
Empowerment individuals to gain skills, certifications, and achievements to reach new heights for the technical, construction and clean energy sectors. Empowerment includes bringing a diverse sector of individuals with the range of human differences, including but not limited to race, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, social class, physical ability or attributes, religious or ethical values system, national origin, and political beliefs.

Embracement within the program is identified with acts of kindness, respectfulness, and additional leadership skills to thrive as decent, productive, positive individuals that can demo “how-to” implications as it relates to the technical, construction and clean energy sectors.
